CKNY Succulents is based in Brooklyn – the NY in CKNY. The CK is my real name, but my friends call me Michael.

I wasn’t always a succulents guy. I was obsessed with orchids for a while, then with bonsai. But when I discovered succulents, I knew it was the real thing. I bought a few…then a few more. I couldn’t stop. (You know what I’m talking about!) I started buying plants from all over the US, and later from around the world. It was then I learned that there were so many different shapes and colors. I learned the four most important things for succulents: light, air, water, and soil. I tried many kinds of soil and now I mix my own and my plants love it. Seeing my succulents grow strong and beautiful makes me happy and I hope that you and your plants will be happy, too.
